From 1946 to 1954 the USA gave over a $1 billion to France to inspection and repair them defeat the Ho Chi Minh and reclaim territory they mystical in thought(p) during World War II, in south east Asia, in the main Vietnam. His organization was very unpopular and this led to subject rebellion, in November 1963. During which Diems government was overthrown and he was killed. Kennedy now began to take Vietnam to a greater extent seriously. Ships were sent in to patrol the coast for NLF agents. The NLF retaliated by attack one of the ships, in turn giving Johnson, who replaced Kennedy, the go-ahead he needed, to launch a wide of the mark-scale fight. Johnson announced the war, creating a big wave of ordinary interest, which as we will see, wasnt always in the U.S. Armys favour.
